ScholarshipOwl is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to build and scale high-performance web applications used by millions of students worldwide. You will work across the full stack using Nuxt.js (Vue.js) on the frontend and Node.js / Python on the backend.

This role focuses on modernizing systems, improving performance, and leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and maintain high code quality. You will play a key role in architecting scalable solutions, optimizing SSR performance, and mentoring developers while helping shape the future of education technology.

• Architect and develop high-performance full-stack applications using Nuxt.js and Node.js / Python.
• Implement Server-Side Rendering (SSR) for performance and SEO optimization.
• Design and optimize GraphQL APIs for high-concurrency usage.
• Bridge legacy systems with modern scalable architectures.
• Leverage AI tools to improve development speed and code quality.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features.
• Continuously improve system performance and scalability.

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Vue.js and Nuxt.js (SSR, middleware, plugins, Pinia/Vuex).
• Solid backend experience with Node.js and/or Python.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and async programming.
• Experience with SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, or Vitest.
• Experience designing or consuming GraphQL APIs.
• Strong problem-solving and architectural skills.
• Nice to have: experience with AI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot), LLM integrations, GCP, or PHP.
