Maze is looking for a Product Designer to help define the future of AI-agent user experiences in cybersecurity. This is an early-stage, high-impact role where you will design complex AI-human collaboration workflows, create scalable design systems, and shape product direction alongside founders, engineering, and product leadership.

You will work at the intersection of generative AI, cybersecurity, and B2B SaaS, designing interfaces for autonomous AI agents that investigate vulnerabilities, communicate findings, and support security teams in making faster and more informed decisions.

• Design AI-agent collaboration experiences and define new UX patterns for cybersecurity workflows.
• Drive product direction and influence roadmap decisions through research and strategic thinking.
• Own the end-to-end product design lifecycle from discovery and prototyping to implementation and iteration.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product leadership, and founders on complex technical products.
• Build and scale a component-based design system for AI-native interfaces.
• Use AI tools to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and product exploration workflows.
• Conduct customer research with security teams and translate insights into product decisions.
• Establish high standards for design quality, consistency, and customer impact across the organization.

• 4–7 years of professional experience in Product Design with shipped B2B SaaS products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality visual craft and complex data-dense interfaces.
• Experience designing dashboards, developer tools, security platforms, or other technical products.
• Strong understanding of information architecture, visual hierarchy, and design systems.
• Hands-on experience with modern AI tools such as Figma AI, Cursor, v0, Midjourney, ChatGPT, or Claude.
• Ability to drive product strategy and influence business decisions beyond visual design execution.
• Experience collaborating deeply with engineering teams and understanding implementation constraints.
• Background building or contributing to production-level design systems.
• Strong customer research and product discovery skills.
• Nice to have: Experience in cybersecurity, developer tools, or AI-native product design.
• Nice to have: Startup experience in early-stage or high-growth environments.
