Teza Technologies is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join its Infrastructure team. In this role, you will own and evolve the infrastructure platform that powers quantitative researchers, software engineers, and traders. You will play a key role in building scalable, observable, secure, and developer-friendly systems that support mission-critical trading operations.

You will help shape the future of Teza's infrastructure by improving observability, modernizing CI/CD pipelines, strengthening security, managing hybrid cloud environments, and building reliable self-service platforms for engineering and research teams. This position offers significant ownership and the opportunity to influence infrastructure standards and technology decisions across the organization.

• Design, build, and maintain internal infrastructure platforms supporting developers, researchers, and traders.
• Develop full-stack observability solutions including metrics, centralized logging, distributed tracing, and alerting.
• Build and maintain self-service compute orchestration platforms for HPC, machine learning, and workflow scheduling.
• Implement secure secrets management for credentials, certificates, API keys, and service authentication.
• Design and improve CI/CD and release automation pipelines across multiple application types.
• Maintain shared platform services including identity management, GitHub Actions runners, VPN, and observability tooling.
• Strengthen infrastructure security through network segmentation, access controls, vulnerability management, and compliance practices.
• Manage hybrid infrastructure across cloud, on-premises, and colocated environments.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, quantitative research, and trading teams to improve developer productivity and platform reliability.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational workflows using scripting and Infrastructure as Code practices.

• Professional experience building and operating internal platform services for engineering teams.
• Strong Linux systems administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience supporting machine learning or large-scale data processing workloads.
• Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform including AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience managing hybrid infrastructure environments across cloud and on-premises systems.
• Programming experience in Python or another scripting language for automation and tooling.
• Strong understanding of networking technologies including DNS, LDAP, SMTP, TLS, HTTP, and SSH.
• Experience implementing infrastructure security, access controls, vulnerability management, and audit logging.
• Nice to have: Experience with Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, SIEM platforms, or financial services infrastructure.
• Nice to have: Experience working in quantitative trading or other low-latency, high-availability environments.
