We are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to join Miro's Canvas Core team in Yerevan. The team is responsible for building and maintaining the foundational frontend canvas platform, including runtime architecture, synchronization systems, widget foundations, data models, and platform capabilities that power Miro's collaborative experience.

In this role, you will solve complex frontend engineering challenges, design scalable solutions, and contribute to the evolution of Miro's architecture and developer experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across the company, influence technical decisions, and take ownership of critical platform components that serve millions of users worldwide.

• Participate in the analysis of product challenges, conduct technical research, and define solution requirements.
• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and high-performance frontend solutions.
• Make architectural decisions and guide the evolution of prototypes into production-ready systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across Miro to improve products, architecture, and engineering practices.
• Continuously improve developer experience and platform capabilities.
• Solve complex technical challenges spanning multiple systems and domains.
• Create and maintain high-quality technical design documentation.
• Take long-term ownership of critical platform areas and services.
• Drive technical excellence and contribute to the growth of engineering expertise within the team.
• Support platform performance, resilience, scalability, and maintainability initiatives.

• 5+ years of experience building frontend applications using modern frameworks, technologies, and programming languages.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including software architecture and modern development practices.
• Proven ability to transform product requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Hands-on experience with unit, integration, and acceptance testing methodologies.
• Understanding of non-functional requirements including performance, security, scalability, and memory management.
• Strong critical thinking skills and a system-level engineering mindset.
• Experience working within Agile and cross-functional product teams.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency.
• Passion for building high-quality software products.
• Nice to have: Experience working on platform engineering teams.
