Distru is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its globally distributed engineering team and help build the operating system for the cannabis industry. • Own the planning, design, implementation, testing, and delivery of mission-critical full-stack features.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, customer support, and leadership teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Design and build AI-powered workflows and features that improve customer productivity.
• Develop functionality across ERP, commerce, manufacturing, distribution, cultivation, and compliance domains.
• Build scalable and maintainable software solutions using modern technologies and best practices.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code with strong emphasis on maintainability and reliability.
• Leverage AI development tools to increase engineering velocity while maintaining quality standards.

• Strong experience building production-grade software as a Senior Software Engineer.
• Experience working with modern web application architectures and full-stack systems.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and AI-assisted development workflows.
• Strong experience delivering features end-to-end with high quality and predictability.
• Excellent SQL and PostgreSQL knowledge, especially for complex relational data models.
• Experience working in early-stage startups or fast-moving environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to identify technical risks early and proactively communicate trade-offs.
• Experience writing automated tests and maintaining high engineering standards.
