Aderant is looking for a Senior UX Designer to join its design team and create intelligent user experiences and information architecture for Stridyn, its legal and financial platform. You will work across desktop and mobile experiences, partnering closely with Product Managers and Engineers to move from problem discovery to validated prototypes and production-ready experiences.

This role is ideal for a senior product designer who combines strong UX fundamentals with technical fluency and an interest in AI-native design workflows. You will use AI-assisted tools such as Claude Design and Cowork alongside Figma and Aderant's design system to explore problems, map complex workflows, prototype quickly, validate solutions, and continuously improve the team's design practice.

• Work within cross-functional product pods alongside Product Managers and Engineers to move from problem discovery to validated prototypes.
• Partner with Product Managers during Research and Discovery to understand, frame, and scope user problems.
• Use AI-native design workflows and tools such as Claude Design to begin conceptualizing solutions early in the product process.
• Use Cowork for problem framing, flow logic, edge-case mapping, and strategic summaries.
• Design complete user experiences covering empty, loading, error, partial-data, and edge-case states.
• Iterate on designs through validation, incorporating client feedback and preparing solutions for engineering implementation.
• Create validated interactive prototypes as primary handoff artifacts supported by documentation and design rationale.
• Use components and design tokens from the existing design system and contribute to its ongoing evolution.
• Contribute to DesignOps practices, including skills, agents, quality gates, design systems, and team workflows.
• Design information architecture and UX flows for complex data structures, search, navigation, and actionable business functionality.
• Stay involved throughout development and QA to ensure the final product matches the intended experience.
• Clearly communicate design decisions and maintain transparent documentation throughout the design process.
• Track work using product and development tools such as Aha and Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate effectively with distributed teams across different time zones.

• 5+ years of professional experience in UX or Product Design.
• Experience designing enterprise and cloud-based applications.
• Strong interest in or experience with AI-native design workflows and AI-assisted product development.
• Strong prototyping skills and the ability to use prototypes as tools for exploration, validation, and communication.
• Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional product teams.
• Outcome-oriented mindset with a willingness to validate early and iterate continuously.
• Experience creating wireframes and interactive prototypes.
• Experience documenting and annotating designs and clearly explaining design decisions.
• Working knowledge of Figma, including Auto Layout, component design, and FigJam.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to polished, high-quality deliverables.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Nice to have: Experience with Material UI or Bootstrap.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, React, Angular, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
• Nice to have: Experience building or improving DesignOps tooling, design systems, or design team workflows.
