Job Description
Dougs is looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer to join the E-Commerce squad within the Compta Client domain. You will work on simplifying the lives of merchants and accountants — covering cash register accounting, marketplace synchronisation, and an AI assistant (MCP). You will contribute to a modern tech stack (Angular, NestJS, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, GCP) in a collaborative team using a Shape Up-inspired methodology.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and evolve features within the E-commerce squad's scope.
- Create new robust, readable, and maintainable features.
- Contribute to code reviews and propose product and technical improvements.
- Ensure platform performance and scalability.
- Participate in technology watch and continuous improvement of the stack and practices.
- Be actively involved in recruiting future teammates.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of development experience with solid command of NodeJS and TypeScript.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL.
- Belief in the power of teamwork, kindness, and constructive feedback.
- Comfortable collaborating with diverse profiles — tech, product, and business stakeholders.
- Curious and autonomous — able to engage with accountants to understand their needs.
- Enjoys pair programming while remaining self-directed.
- Enjoys mentoring and helping junior developers grow.
- Committed to DDD, Clean Code, and modern engineering practices.
