Kentik is seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer to join its growing EMEA sales organization. In this customer-facing role, you will serve as the technical advisor throughout the sales lifecycle, helping service providers and enterprise customers understand how Kentik's network intelligence platform can improve network visibility, performance, and operational efficiency.

You will lead technical demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and solution design while working closely with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Customer Success. This role combines deep networking expertise with strong communication and consulting skills, making it ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex infrastructure challenges while engaging directly with customers.

• Own all technical aspects of the customer sales journey, including product demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements.
• Respond to technical questionnaires including RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Collaborate with Marketing to improve technical sales collateral and customer enablement materials.
• Gather customer feedback and communicate product requirements to Product Management.
• Partner with Customer Success to conduct post-sales technical reviews, customer enablement, and solution integrations.
• Work closely with Account Executives to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
• Support customer integrations with existing infrastructure, tools, and internal systems.
• Represent Kentik at industry conferences, trade shows, customer meetings, and networking events.
• Travel regularly throughout the EMEA region to support customers and prospects.

• 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Network Engineering.
• Must be located within the EMEA region.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to engineers, architects, and executive stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience managing Cisco or Juniper networking equipment and Linux servers.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols including NetFlow, SNMP, BGP, DNS, TCP/IP, and HTTP.
• Understanding of DDoS attacks and mitigation techniques.
• Nice to have: Experience supporting Tier 1 or Tier 2 telecommunications providers.
• Nice to have: Experience with security, infrastructure monitoring, or network performance platforms.
• Nice to have: Scripting experience with Python, Bash, Ansible, or Perl.
• Nice to have: SQL and database knowledge.
• Nice to have: Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic, LibreNMS, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Nice to have: Previous experience in a high-growth startup environment.
