Planner 5D is looking for a Frontend Engineer (3D Graphics) to join its Web development team and help build the technology behind a global home design platform used by more than 90 million users worldwide.

You will work primarily with JavaScript, TypeScript, Three.js, WebGL, SVG, and Canvas, building clean, reusable, and high-performance frontend experiences for 2D and 3D home design. The team follows an object-oriented programming approach and strict coding standards, with a strong focus on performance, memory management, browser compatibility, security, and maintainability.

This role is ideal for an engineer passionate about frontend development and 3D graphics who enjoys solving complex technical problems and working with modern web technologies.

• Develop and maintain frontend functionality for Planner 5D's web-based home design platform.
• Build clean, reusable, and maintainable code using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Develop 2D graphics and interfaces using SVG and Canvas.
• Develop and optimize 3D graphics functionality using Three.js and WebGL.
• Work with WebSockets and other web technologies to support interactive application functionality.
• Follow object-oriented programming principles and strict engineering standards.
• Ensure compatibility and consistent behavior across modern web browsers.
• Apply best practices for security, performance, memory management, and maintainability.
• Write and maintain unit tests using Jest.
• Collaborate with other engineers and team members to understand requirements and communicate technical solutions effectively.
• Continuously learn and evaluate new technologies that can improve the product and development process.

• 5+ years of professional Web development experience.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with popular frontend frameworks and libraries such as AngularJS, Vue, and jQuery.
• Strong experience with 2D graphics technologies including SVG and Canvas.
• Strong experience with 3D graphics, particularly Three.js and WebGL.
• Strong understanding of ECMAScript 6+.
• Strong CSS knowledge.
• Understanding of browser compatibility and cross-browser development.
• Knowledge of REST, JSON, XML, HTML, Git, and other supporting Web technologies.
• Strong understanding of clean and maintainable code principles.
• Knowledge of best practices around Web security, performance, memory management, and maintainability.
• Good understanding of Web protocols including HTTP and WebSockets.
• English proficiency at B1+ level.
• Russian language understanding.
• Nice to have: Understanding of mathematics and geometry.
• Passion for software development and interest in adopting new technologies.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
