KX is looking for a Junior C++ Software Engineer to join its development team in Yerevan and contribute to the evolution of the OneTick product line. This is an opportunity for an early-career engineer to develop software for financial technology products used by a global client base.

You will work alongside senior engineers to develop C++ components, debug and test software, participate in performance analysis and optimization, and contribute to code reviews and engineering best practices. The role is suited to someone with hands-on C++ experience through university, internships, or personal projects who is interested in performance-sensitive systems and financial technology.

• Contribute to the development of C++ components within the OneTick platform.
• Write clean, maintainable, readable, and efficient C++ code.
• Debug software issues and support testing and validation activities.
• Participate in performance analysis and optimization work.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to understand system requirements and implementation approaches.
• Follow internal development standards and engineering best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality.

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or currently pursuing one.
• Some hands-on experience with C++ through academic work, internships, or personal projects.
• Basic understanding of the C++ Standard Template Library (STL) and core C++ concepts.
• Understanding of fundamental algorithms and data structures.
• Familiarity with multi-threading concepts.
• Comfortable working in a Unix/Linux environment and using command-line tools.
• Good technical English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Ability to write structured algorithms and work with data structures.
• Attention to code quality, readability, and maintainability.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
